Kleeneze Success - 10 Secrets to Building a Profitable Business

1.No Secrets
It might sound like a cop out just to fill out the list but this point is key, there really are no secrets to succeeding with Kleeneze, or any other Network Marketing business. All of the knowledge that you need in order to build a profitable business are freely available. Whether in books, at meetings, or from your sponsor, everything you need to know is there for you - you just need to know where to look and who to ask.
It continues to amaze me how, in this business, people are willing to help each other. You wouldn't go to a Microsoft conference and expect to see an executive from Apple or Novell giving a talk. In Kleeneze however, cross network training is commonplace with the sentiment that 'what is good for Kleeneze is good for the network'. This mindset fosters a real sense of camaraderie and team spirit which helps to drive the business forward. Information is freely available and so next time you want to know something just ask. Whether upline or crossline someone with more experience than yourself will be happy to give you the answers.
The other side to the 'no secret' tips is that this is a simple business. Follow the system, word hard and have patience and you will succeed. There is no 'secret' to success here, just a set of practices that if followed well will lead you to developing a successful and profitable network.
2.Never Quit
I've lost count of how many people I've seen quit this business, only to watch one of their team go on to build a successful business. There are Kleeneze distributors from all walks of life, from shipyard workers to teachers, prison officers to accountants, but the one thing all successful distributors have in common is that they didn't quit!
Every business has its ups and downs. From chips shops to FTSE 500s every business, without fail, will have good days and bad days, times of growth and times of recession, massive successes and minor setbacks. The key, in the words of Richard Carlson is, "Don't sweat the small stuff". If you're having a bad day, don't let that turn into a bad week. If you're having a bad week do something about it before it turns into a bad month.
Remember that whatever obstacle you come up against, other people will have faced it, and overcome it before. Quitting can sometimes look like an attractive option, and I'd be willing to bet that every successful distributor has thought about it more than once, but the surest way to fail is to quit when the going gets tough. Remember - tough times don't last, tough people do!
3.Some will, some won't, so what
Not everyone will want to join your team. Not everyone will want to change their life, increase their lifestyle and build a business. This however does not reflect on you. Your job as a networker is to promote the business, expose people to the opportunity, offer information and advice, and to train and coach those who are interested. If someone says no they are not saying no to you, they are saying that for them, at this moment in time they don't believe that your opportunity is suitable. Again, remember that the top earners in the business are where they are because more people have said no to them than to you! So 'fail your way to the top' and start getting some rejections, because each no takes you closer to your next yes!
4.Up the activity
If you place more catalogues, you will get more orders. If you do more advertising you will get more leads, if you talk to more people you will get more people joining your network.
If you place a certain number of catalogue you will get so many orders. It almost goes without saying that if you place ten times as many catalogues you will get ten times the orders. The same goes with sponsoring activity. Whatever level you are doing, you can always do more. If you want things to be moving faster, if you want a bigger team and a bigger bonus then simply do more and up the activity.
5.A higher bonus level means a higher income
By now I'm sure you're realising that this is a simple business with simple answers. If more catalogues gets you more order, and more activity gets you more leads, a higher bonus level gets you more money.
To get a higher bonus level you need to increase your turnover. You do that by doing more retail (place more catalogues) or by sponsoring more people (up the activity). As your bonus level increases your income will increase with it and at the same time your story will improve. Success attracts success and as your income and bonus level increase you will find it increasingly easy to attract people to your business. The only thing from stopping you generating that momentum is you - just make a decision to start today and get going!
6.The right attitude
Attitude is everything, right? Well maybe not quite, but the wrong attitude will certainly compromise your chances of success. When I first started in Network Marketing I sponsored both of my sisters into my business. Both had the same background, both had a good work ethic, both obviously had the same trainer and coach in myself. However, one went on to build a large organisation and the other quit after just a few weeks. The reason - attitude. The sister who did well was always positive, when she came across an obstacle she worked out how to overcome it and she was always asking questions and willing to learn. The sister who quit was negative from day one. She told me she didn't think the business would work and that she would prove me wrong. She wouldn't listen and made a big deal of every little setback.
Having the right attitude really can make the difference between success and failure. The other lesson to learn here is that people WILL quit, and when they do it's not your fault. I gave the same help and support to both sisters and yet one chose to follow my leadership and succeed while the other did not. Remember that when someone quits your team, it's their decision and it doesn't reflect on you.
7.It's OK to make some mistakes
Mistakes are a natural part of the learning process. If you never made a mistake you could never improve. If you never pushed beyond your boundaries you could never grow. Making a mistake is fine, so long as you learn from it, and so long as you don't make the same mistake time and time again.
Even better than learning from your own mistakes is to learn from other's mistakes. Learn other people's success stories, and also where they tripped up. Share stories with your upline, downline and crossline at meetings, conferences, via email and voicemail, whenever you get the chance. If there is a wrong way to do something, chances are that someone else has tried it. Remember, there are no secrets to this business, so always be learning, but don't be afraid to push your limits. Minor setbacks only pave the way for future success!
8.Provide proof
One of the biggest advantages Kleeneze has over other networks is our amazing catalogue and the ability to create income immediately, through personal retail. Anyone, even around a full time job, can earn £300 - £500 in their very first month in Kleeneze through personal retail. That creates a strong story which makes you very attractive to prospects. If you can show your income and say, "I earned £500 in my first month, part time, are you interested?" very few people would turn down the opportunity of at least taking a look at what you have to offer.
The great thing is, no matter how long you have been with Kleeneze, you can create a new retail story today! Just work out a retail plan with your sponsor, set yourself a target and go for it. There are many people earning over £3000 per month just from personal retail, but a second income of just a few hundred is plenty to prove to yourself and your prospects that the business works and start building a team.
9.Earn more than your sponsor
It's a common misconception that in order to make good money in Network marketing you need to get 'in at the start' of an opportunity. Those in the business know this is not the case. Kleeneze became a networking company in the 1970s and the current top earner joined in 1993. Many of the public however still regard Network Marketing as a similar concept to the old pyramid schemes of 20 years ago. The quickest and surest way of proving the opposite is to go out and earn more than the person who sponsored you.
I earned more in my first month in the business than my sponsor, and have people in my team who earn more than me. The business pays on effort and performance which is great... put in the effort to produce results and you get the rewards.
10.Talk to everyone
This is a networking business, that means essentially you are paid to promote the business to other people. Whether face to face, on the phone, by email, voicemail, SMS... the more people you tell about the business the more money you will make. This isn't rocket science, but unfortunately too many people complicate the matter. Keep it simple, follow your successful upline's system, be persistent and consistent and talk to as many people as you can and you will enjoy massive success with your Kleeneze business.
