Do You Live to Work or Work to Live ?

Teenagers and young adults - the so-called Generation Y - have watched with horror as their parents worked punishing hours in their scramble for money and status. Now, as this group go in search of jobs, they have different priorities. They care less about salaries, and more about flexible working, time to travel and a better work-life balance.

New research has found that a similar attitude to work is burgeoning among the group of people known as Generation Y - usually defined as those between the ages of 11 and 25. A study of more than 2,500 people born after the early Eighties found that they were rebelling against their parents' values and were determined not to lead lives that revolved so heavily around the world of work.

Here is a group that has never known, or even witnessed, hardship, recession or mass unemployment and does not fear redundancy or repossession, according to researchers. The result is a generation that believes it can have it all and is not embarrassed to ask for it; a generation that will constitute the majority of the workforce within a decade.

The study found that 85 per cent of Generation Y wanted to spend 30 per cent to 70 per cent of their time working from home.

Our First Four Weeks In Kleeneze

We started our own Kleeneze Home Shopping business in September 2006 for an investment of £180 for which we received a starter kit including Business Manuals, 250 catalogues and order forms etc.

In the first four weeks we put the catalogues out and collected them in once each week, and earned a total of £459.19 (see proof of income below) which meant we had earned over £100 per week and not only got our investment back but were also in profit by over £270. A nice little earner!!

To earn this money we had put in about 10 - 12 hours each week, time that we would probably have otherwise spent lounging around watching the TV. We did not do anything out of the ordinary to earn this money, we just followed the simple system that our sponsor had shown us.

It also proved to us that Kleeneze works !! And over 4 years later it still works !!

If you know anyone who could do with an extra income please do them a favour and direct them to our website http://www.mykleeneze.com/635472 where they can view a 15 minute DVD which introduces the opportunity, and where they can leave their contact details to receive further information.

UK Pay Squeeze Is Necessary

Mervyn King, the Bank of England governor has said that the squeeze on UK take-home pay is necessary. Speaking in Newcastle,  he said the current high inflation rate was unavoidable as the UK economy adjusts to higher commodity prices and becomes more competitive.

He said inflation was likely to rise further to 4-5% in the coming months, before falling back sharply from 2012.

He went on to say that UK wages were stagnant, and - coupled with high inflation - this had led to the longest decline in the real value of take-home pay in the UK since the 1920s. Mr King claimed that hard times for UK wage-earners were, one way or another, inevitable.

He also added that spending in the UK will continue to face "headwinds", as the pay squeeze is set to continue, households and banks are still struggling with their debts, and government austerity is on the way.

If you need an extra income please leave your details via  our contact form and we will send you a free information pack.

Do You Have What It Takes ?

I spoke in an earlier blog about how many people are struggling to pay off debt, and generally stick their head in the sand hoping that it will go away. I also mentioned that we have the answer to the problem with the fantastic Kleeneze opportunity and how we can show people how to earn
£50 - £100 per week in just a few spare time hours.

We speak to people every day about the options for them in joining us in business, and many of them still stick their head in the sand, and refuse to see the benefit that Kleeneze can give them.
It really all boils down to their "attitude", they do not have what it takes, they need to wake up and smell the coffee, there is a famous quotation that sums up this attitude, "If you really want to do something, you will find a way. If you don't, you will find an excuse."

So, its up to you, do you have what it takes, do you really want it !! Because if you do, we have the answer, we can help you, please leave your details via our contact page at
http://www.mykleeneze.com/635472 we will be very pleased to speak with you.

The Fear Factory - Richard Fenton & Andrea Waltz

This book by the authors of Go For NO is superb and is written in a similar style to Go For No in that it takes the form of a story.

In the book you will learn about the fears you are born with, and how you "buy" new fears from the Fear Factory, and how to confront those fears and use them to help you accomplish your goals. And why you must do something everyday that scares you, and how to put the Fear Factory out of business.

This is a simply fantastic read, if you are interested in self development then you just have to get hold of a copy. Me, I can't wait to read it again and start putting it into practice in the aspects of my business that "scare" me.

Do You Have Mounting Debt Problems ?

There seems to be no sign of an economic recovery on the horizon, figures released today show that the UK economy shrank in the last three months of 2010.

Prices continue to rise, the recent increase in VAT has meant that petrol prices in particular have risen sharply, and this has a knock on effect on food prices etc.

All this makes it even harder for people in debt to manage the problem, paying off debts when prices are on the up becomes very difficult. Many people simply stick their head in the sand and borrow more believing that when the "good times" return they will pay the debt off.

The better option is to earn more, and we can help you earn an extra £50 - £100+ per week with the Kleeneze opportunity in just a few spare time hours. Just think how an extra £50 a week would help you now to get in control of your debts before its too late.

To find out more visit  http://www.mykleeneze.com/635472 and leave your contact details. We will be delighted to speak to you and share with you how we can get you started earning that little extra.

Inflexible and stressful work 'harming families'

Inflexible and stressful jobs are leaving parents racked with guilt and increasingly distant from their children, according to a Demos report.

Demos polled 1,017 parents for the Home Front report. It found:
  • a third of fathers in the UK work more than 48 hours a week, compared with a quarter of men without children
  • one-in-eight fathers work more than 60 hours a week, and typically, fathers increase their hours after their youngest child reaches the age of six
  • the number of working mothers has gone up from one in six in 1951 to two in three now, with 6% working more than 48 hours and 3% more than 60

Are you Unemployed ?

A report on the BBC News Business website on 19th January 2011

"UK unemployment rose by 49,000 to almost 2.5 million in the three months to the end of November, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) has said."

"One in five 16 to 24-year-olds are now out of work, after a rise of 32,000 to 951,000 without jobs, the highest figure since records began in 1992."

"The UK unemployment rate is 7.9%, but for 16 to 24-year-olds it is 20.3%."

If you are one of the many young people out of work please take a look at what our opportunity has to offer via the My Kleeneze link to the right.

Kleeneze Destination 2011 - New York

How much are the kleeneze catalogues worth?

Cost £32 for 50 sets, which equals 62p each pack (main book, health & beauty, sale book, order form and a plastic bag)

It is possible to put catalogues out and in 3 times in a week

The catalogue cost has now dropped to 20p

The catalogue is live for 6 months so 3 times a week for 26 weeks will be 78 times the catalogues can be in and out.

Cost of the pack is therefore less than a penny (62p dived by 78)

Now if you just work with 100 sets, 3 times per week, for 6 months, based on the company averages you will generate 30 orders per week with a value of approx £300.

Over the 6 months that will earn you about £1520 plus approx £460 in bonus payments.

So those catalogues which will have cost you next to nothing will have earned you almost £2000

5 Suggestions to Getting Much More Prospective Customers For the Business

Once you get started in any type of home based business your only focus should be on getting prospects to talk to about it. That's really it. It's not about knowing the comp plan inside out, organizing your desk, or memorizing your companies leadership structure. It's all about getting more prospects. Without having prospects you'll never make any money, plain and simple. So, how do you go about getting more prospects to talk to? Here are 5 tips to help you in doing just that.
1. Be Enthusiastic - This tip ranks up near the very top. No matter if you are brand new in your business and don't know every detail about your product or opportunity, if you have enthusiasm, you'll have success. People love to be around others who are on fire and enjoy what they are doing. Think about it for a minute. Most people live a life of drudgery, going to a job they hate, and barely making enough to get by. They are looking for a better way. When they meet up with someone who is passionate, and shows them how to change their current situation, they will take notice and listen. People love to be led, and they will follow passionate and enthusiastic leaders. Bottom line; Enthusiasm is contagious!
2. Talk To Everyone - Are you one of the many home based business top secret agents? If you are, STOP. You can never build any kind of home business by not telling others what you do. Tell everyone what you do. No matter where you go, or who you see, let them know about your product and how it can help them. If they are talking about money, let them know you have a way for them to make more. Realize that just about everyone you meet is looking to have more money than they currently have. If you don't tell them about your business, someone else will.
3. Be Honest And Professional - Never exaggerate, or make up income claims. Be honest and professional at all times. I know it can be difficult when you first start and someone asks you how much you're making. It's easy to want to make up a big dollar figure. Don't do it. People can tell if you are being honest or not. Think about your kids for a moment. You know when they are telling you the truth or not. You can sense it. The same thing works in your home based business. If you are honest and professional, people will respect you. But, if you're not, you'll lose your all your credibility. When you've lost that, then you've lost your prospect.
4. Keep It Simple - How do you explain to others what kind of home business you're involved in? Do you take 15 minutes to tell them every detail of the comp plan, the chemical makeup of the product, or the structure of the home office? I hope not, because if you do you will lose your prospect 99% of the time. People want to know the answers to two questions. What is the product? And, what would I have to do? All the other details are meaningless right now. Use only 2-3 sentences to let someone know what you do and how you do it.
For instance, if you are in health and wellness you could say, "I show people how to look 15 years younger. If you want to make an extra $500 a week all you have to do is hand out these samples and get 2 others to do the same." Of course you will change it up to fit your business opportunity, but you get the basic idea. You have answered their questions. What is the product, and what would I have to do. If they want to know more, then you can go into more details. If they don't, then you didn't waste a lot of time. You spent all of 10 seconds qualifying them.
5. Set Goals - Most people never plan to fail, they simply fail to plan. This is so true. Goals are the road map to your success. Without them you'll never know where you're going, or how to get there. Don't underestimate the power of setting goals. Take a moment right now to write out your plans and goals. Challenge yourself to talk to 5 more people today than you did yesterday.
These 5 tips will definitely help you in getting more prospects for your home business. Keep learning all you can about your business, but above all else, have fun and enjoy what you're doing. By doing so, success is inevitable!

Kleeneze Success - 10 Secrets to Building a Profitable Business

1.No Secrets
It might sound like a cop out just to fill out the list but this point is key, there really are no secrets to succeeding with Kleeneze, or any other Network Marketing business. All of the knowledge that you need in order to build a profitable business are freely available. Whether in books, at meetings, or from your sponsor, everything you need to know is there for you - you just need to know where to look and who to ask.
It continues to amaze me how, in this business, people are willing to help each other. You wouldn't go to a Microsoft conference and expect to see an executive from Apple or Novell giving a talk. In Kleeneze however, cross network training is commonplace with the sentiment that 'what is good for Kleeneze is good for the network'. This mindset fosters a real sense of camaraderie and team spirit which helps to drive the business forward. Information is freely available and so next time you want to know something just ask. Whether upline or crossline someone with more experience than yourself will be happy to give you the answers.
The other side to the 'no secret' tips is that this is a simple business. Follow the system, word hard and have patience and you will succeed. There is no 'secret' to success here, just a set of practices that if followed well will lead you to developing a successful and profitable network.
2.Never Quit
I've lost count of how many people I've seen quit this business, only to watch one of their team go on to build a successful business. There are Kleeneze distributors from all walks of life, from shipyard workers to teachers, prison officers to accountants, but the one thing all successful distributors have in common is that they didn't quit!
Every business has its ups and downs. From chips shops to FTSE 500s every business, without fail, will have good days and bad days, times of growth and times of recession, massive successes and minor setbacks. The key, in the words of Richard Carlson is, "Don't sweat the small stuff". If you're having a bad day, don't let that turn into a bad week. If you're having a bad week do something about it before it turns into a bad month.
Remember that whatever obstacle you come up against, other people will have faced it, and overcome it before. Quitting can sometimes look like an attractive option, and I'd be willing to bet that every successful distributor has thought about it more than once, but the surest way to fail is to quit when the going gets tough. Remember - tough times don't last, tough people do!
3.Some will, some won't, so what
Not everyone will want to join your team. Not everyone will want to change their life, increase their lifestyle and build a business. This however does not reflect on you. Your job as a networker is to promote the business, expose people to the opportunity, offer information and advice, and to train and coach those who are interested. If someone says no they are not saying no to you, they are saying that for them, at this moment in time they don't believe that your opportunity is suitable. Again, remember that the top earners in the business are where they are because more people have said no to them than to you! So 'fail your way to the top' and start getting some rejections, because each no takes you closer to your next yes!
4.Up the activity
If you place more catalogues, you will get more orders. If you do more advertising you will get more leads, if you talk to more people you will get more people joining your network.
If you place a certain number of catalogue you will get so many orders. It almost goes without saying that if you place ten times as many catalogues you will get ten times the orders. The same goes with sponsoring activity. Whatever level you are doing, you can always do more. If you want things to be moving faster, if you want a bigger team and a bigger bonus then simply do more and up the activity.
5.A higher bonus level means a higher income
By now I'm sure you're realising that this is a simple business with simple answers. If more catalogues gets you more order, and more activity gets you more leads, a higher bonus level gets you more money.
To get a higher bonus level you need to increase your turnover. You do that by doing more retail (place more catalogues) or by sponsoring more people (up the activity). As your bonus level increases your income will increase with it and at the same time your story will improve. Success attracts success and as your income and bonus level increase you will find it increasingly easy to attract people to your business. The only thing from stopping you generating that momentum is you - just make a decision to start today and get going!
6.The right attitude
Attitude is everything, right? Well maybe not quite, but the wrong attitude will certainly compromise your chances of success. When I first started in Network Marketing I sponsored both of my sisters into my business. Both had the same background, both had a good work ethic, both obviously had the same trainer and coach in myself. However, one went on to build a large organisation and the other quit after just a few weeks. The reason - attitude. The sister who did well was always positive, when she came across an obstacle she worked out how to overcome it and she was always asking questions and willing to learn. The sister who quit was negative from day one. She told me she didn't think the business would work and that she would prove me wrong. She wouldn't listen and made a big deal of every little setback.
Having the right attitude really can make the difference between success and failure. The other lesson to learn here is that people WILL quit, and when they do it's not your fault. I gave the same help and support to both sisters and yet one chose to follow my leadership and succeed while the other did not. Remember that when someone quits your team, it's their decision and it doesn't reflect on you.
7.It's OK to make some mistakes
Mistakes are a natural part of the learning process. If you never made a mistake you could never improve. If you never pushed beyond your boundaries you could never grow. Making a mistake is fine, so long as you learn from it, and so long as you don't make the same mistake time and time again.
Even better than learning from your own mistakes is to learn from other's mistakes. Learn other people's success stories, and also where they tripped up. Share stories with your upline, downline and crossline at meetings, conferences, via email and voicemail, whenever you get the chance. If there is a wrong way to do something, chances are that someone else has tried it. Remember, there are no secrets to this business, so always be learning, but don't be afraid to push your limits. Minor setbacks only pave the way for future success!
8.Provide proof
One of the biggest advantages Kleeneze has over other networks is our amazing catalogue and the ability to create income immediately, through personal retail. Anyone, even around a full time job, can earn £300 - £500 in their very first month in Kleeneze through personal retail. That creates a strong story which makes you very attractive to prospects. If you can show your income and say, "I earned £500 in my first month, part time, are you interested?" very few people would turn down the opportunity of at least taking a look at what you have to offer.
The great thing is, no matter how long you have been with Kleeneze, you can create a new retail story today! Just work out a retail plan with your sponsor, set yourself a target and go for it. There are many people earning over £3000 per month just from personal retail, but a second income of just a few hundred is plenty to prove to yourself and your prospects that the business works and start building a team.
9.Earn more than your sponsor
It's a common misconception that in order to make good money in Network marketing you need to get 'in at the start' of an opportunity. Those in the business know this is not the case. Kleeneze became a networking company in the 1970s and the current top earner joined in 1993. Many of the public however still regard Network Marketing as a similar concept to the old pyramid schemes of 20 years ago. The quickest and surest way of proving the opposite is to go out and earn more than the person who sponsored you.
I earned more in my first month in the business than my sponsor, and have people in my team who earn more than me. The business pays on effort and performance which is great... put in the effort to produce results and you get the rewards.
10.Talk to everyone
This is a networking business, that means essentially you are paid to promote the business to other people. Whether face to face, on the phone, by email, voicemail, SMS... the more people you tell about the business the more money you will make. This isn't rocket science, but unfortunately too many people complicate the matter. Keep it simple, follow your successful upline's system, be persistent and consistent and talk to as many people as you can and you will enjoy massive success with your Kleeneze business.

Bucket List Dreams Are Goals Too

Have you always wanted to jump out of a plane? Have you dreamed of taking a take a trip to another part of the world or pamper yourself and stay in a five star hotel? I strongly suggest you write them down as goals. The very fact you have written them down puts your mind to thought. Once the vision of these life long dreams is implanted in your mind, your unconscious mind then goes to work keeping the picture there.
It is suggested by the experts, that our goals be realistic and obtainable and these goals also make us stretch. We have to work toward our goals and their success will generate a wonderful sense of accomplishment. Through the process of writing our goals it is commonly suggested that you break them down to two main groups. These include personal goals relating to health and relationships as well as financial goals pertaining to your life style both tangible and intangible. I personally think it's advisable to add a third category, "Things I want to do before I die".
So what might fit a Bucket List Goal? For starters it's our childhood dreams. The when I grow up stuff. Things you might do if your ship comes in. We all remember the fantastic movie The Bucket List with Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman. Did it not make you feel good as they crossed the dreams off the list? I know I have tears in my eyes every time I watch the movie. I truly believe it's our God given right to leave this planet with not regrets and a huge smile on our face. Imagine the accelerating feeling knowing you squeezed all you could out of your life. Wow.
If you're not a goal writer I would suggest just one goal for you. Make the choice to be a participant in life and remove being a spectator from your mind. Once the decision is clear you want to be a participant, your dreams and aspirations will take root. Enjoy the journey of growing and being the best you can be.
Paul resides with his wife and Golden Retriever in Bedford Nova Scotia. Paul is an entrepreneur in all aspects of life weather it's in a business he is involved with, his volunteer work or being part of a sailing team. Life is about being a participant and not a spectator. I have learned that when you stumble there is very little time to grumble. Get up. Dust yourself off. Get on with it. New experiences await. Many of them will bring joy. I can be found at http://tomyfuturesuccess.blogspot.com

Kleeneze Business - What It Is and What it Isn't

The amount of people who contact me on a daily basis via phone, or email and ask something along the lines of "Do you have any jobs available?" I have to shake my head, but maybe it's to be expected. After all, most people have no idea what Kleeneze actually entails, and mistakenly think it's just catalogues, catalogues and more, yes you've guessed it - catalogues.
What Kleeneze Isn't
Let's get one thing right, from the off - Kleeneze is not a job. It's not something you do for Christmas and then quit. It's not something you do for a few weeks because you're in need of a bit of extra cash. Kleeneze is something you invest both your time and money in, as you can see the bigger picture and you can appreciate that once it's built up, after 2-5 years, you'll have something to sit back on.
What Kleeneze Is
Well, what if I said to you that Kleeneze in essense is two businesses rolled into one? The first is a Catalogue Retail Business. The second is a Network Marketing Business.
The Retailing Business is all about finding people who do buy from the catalogues. That's pretty much the bottom line. You go out and find X amount of people who wish to place orders with you, for Kleeneze products. Nothing difficult in that is there?
Think of a hairdressers which has just started up in the middle of your town/city centre. How many customers do they have? The chances are they don't have any, so their first aim is to go out there and find them. By not only finding customers but giving them a great hair service, those customers will come back again and again and repeat custom has been fulfilled.
It's the same with the catalogues. You go out and for the first few months and your only goal needs to be building up a customer base of X amount of people who are happy with the products and service that you provide - and order again and again. This is where you get repeat custom and what does repeat custom equal? That's right, a repeatable income.
What I've found is most people who join Kleeneze have only really looked at the first part of Kleeneze and not looked or really understood the Network Marketing side. In a nutshell, 'Network Marketing is marketing via a network of people'. I think I'll repeat that line as I think it explains it well - 'Network Marketing is marketing via a network of people'.
Once you have the experience of distributing the catalogues, collating and processing the orders and then taking the products around around to your customers, the networking part is simply showing other people to do exactly the above. You then earn Volume Profit and Royalties on every order their customers make.
People mistakenly mix Network Marketing up with Pyramid Selling, where Pyramid Selling is where people get paid for signing people up to a programme. A product doesn't even have to be sold, in order for the person to receive a bonus. Also, what happened in Pyramid Selling was that the person 'at the top' was always the wealthiest.
In Kleeneze, the product has to move, in order for people to earn. Kleeneze are marketing the products via a network of distributors - Network Marketing. The Kleeneze payplan also has a limit on depth, which is 5 generations. What this means, is you can earn more in Kleeneze than the person who introduced/sponsored you into the business.
I hope this has helped you to understand the Kleeneze business a bit more. When I speak to people who are interested in joining I always make sure that I feel Kleeneze is for them.
Somebody who thinks Kleeneze is a job, sets an alarm bell off immediately that this person most definitely does not understand how Kleeneze works.
Stephen Clark has been with Kleeneze for 7 years, working purely on a part-time basis.

MLM Training Tips: "One-Liner" That Gets Masses Of People To View Your Opportunity Presentation

There's one activity in the world of network marketing that gets you closer to the money than any other, and that's presenting your opportunity.
I grew up in the industry with the saying: "He, who shows the plan the most, wins." That's very true because volume will out-perform quality and if you are capable of figuring out how to get more people to simply LOOK at your presentation, you'll win.
There is a guy in my primary opportunity who has recruited over 400 people FRONT LINE in his organization. That means that through his volume of PERSONAL presentations, over 400 people have signed up with him directly. There's another guy who has over 270, and yet another one who has over 120.
Now the guy with the 400+ front line recruits was brought up on stage and interviewed by the co-founder of my opportunity to discover the secret to his amazing recruiting power. As you can imagine, the energy in the room was electric as everyone got poised to take down this magical formula.
When asked, "how are you able to recruit so many people?" He responded with, "Because I show a LOT of people my business." The very day of this event, this guy had 30 people look at our opportunity presentation and was able to recruit 2 of them. He recruits 1-3 people every single day, and made the comment that "recruiting is easy; you should be able to recruit like you breathe."
Do you believe that? Do you believe that recruiting is EASY? Well, the truth is recruiting is easy when you can get your business in front of hundreds of people each month. I want to give you a simple one-liner sentence that will explode your opportunity presentations if you will simply apply it:
"You wouldn't happen to be looking for more income, would you?"
There was a door-to-door insurance agency that sent their salespeople out into neighborhoods to knock on doors and do an 8 minute presentation. They got the door slammed in their faces either early on or half-way through the presentation, which caused productivity to plummet.
The company then decided to hire an outside consulting firm who specialized in fixing problems like this, and they instructed all of their salespeople to make one change: To ask a one-liner question. This one liner question increased their productivity (or sales) by 300%!
Here's that one-liner: "You wouldn't happen to be looking to purchase insurance, would you?"
The reason why this works is because they were able to go through a massive number of people faster to get to those who would say "YES, I am looking to buy insurance."
What most people tend to do is over-complicate the process. If you would simply ask the question, "You wouldn't happen to be looking for more income, would you?" there would be a dramatic increase in the number of presentations that you are able to show.
"You wouldn't happen to be looking for success in network marketing, would you?" If you answered yes, then implement this one-liner today and plug in to my blog for other great MLM training tips.

The Circles

I mentioned in a previous post about the circles, and how excited I was when I was shown this concept, and how this could build us a fantastic income in our network marketing venture with Kleeneze.

There are two sides to the Kleeneze business, retailing and sponsoring. Retailing is simply delivering and collecting catalogues, and delivering orders to your customers on a weekly basis. £50 - £100+ can be earned per week for about 12 - 14 hours of retailing spread over the week.
Sponsoring is the exciting side to the business, and you can earn fantastic incomes by building a team, incidentally you do not earn any money off the back of a team member, everyone earns the same commission from retailing, but the company pays a loyalty bonus based on your total team sales.

To illustrate how the circles concept works, imagine you recruit just 3 people into your team which we will call stage 2, and show them how to retail £1000 every 4 weeks which is a good figure to aim for, and they all then want to start building a team as well, and you show them how to recruit 3 team members each who retail £1000 every 4 weeks, they will all then be at stage 2, but you will now have 12 team members, we will call this stage 3, yet you will have personally sponsored only 3.
Now the approximate 4 weekly earnings for a distributor at stage 1 (retailing £1000 in 4 weeks) will be £250 - £300. Stage 2 earnings when you have a team of 3 each retailing about £1000 every 4 weeks is approx £450 - £500. When your 3 team members have each sponsored 3 people and you are at stage 3, you will be earning £800 - £850 every 4 weeks, but you are still retailing just £1000 every 4 weeks. It actually becomes clearer with an illustration:

How and Why did we get started working from home ?

I had harboured a desire for many years to work for myself rather than working all hours just to make someone else rich. The point is that for a long while I did not do much about changing my circumstances, I tried my hand in my spare time at window cleaning, buying and selling household goods through house parties, but neither of these schemes was going to make me rich or even replace my day job.

I researched many different work from home jobs, but most like envelope addressing were not going to create a decent income either. Then I took a long hard look at taking out a franchise, but to be honest they nearly always require a huge financial investment and I could not see how we could make it work. We needed something that was going to require relatively low or even no money to get started, and it was then that we hit upon companies such as Amway, Forever Living, Kleeneze etc
One in particular seemed very appealing.... Kleeneze. From the outside it appeared to be a relatively easy way to make an extra spare time income and did not require a huge financial outlay to get started. However at this point in time (2004) we made the mistake of thinking that it was just a "catalogue thing", this misconception was in part due to having recently placed an order from the Kleeneze catalogue that dropped through our letter box, and to have it delivered by a very scruffy guy with a kids pushchair complete with child and half a dozen order bags hanging from the handles. Now we know that you should never judge a book by looking at the cover, but we did, and decided that judging by this distributor whilst Kleeneze might make us a few bob, it would not make us rich. So it was back to the day job, monotony, and making someone else rich while we struggled by.

The important point to mention here is that because of this experience with a local distributor we stopped looking into the opportunity and therefore did not see the "big picture"

Another two years went by working the day job, until once again the need to find something different, something to change our lives became very important to us, and once again I started to surf the internet looking for idea's. One evening I happened by chance on a link to the Kleeneze company website, and filled in my contact details expressing an interest in finding out more about the opportunity. About 2 weeks went by and then one evening I received a phone call from a Kleeneze distributor who had a brief chat with me and then emailed me some information. It was then that I saw the "circles" for the first time, and I realised that this very simple concept could not only make us an extra income but could, given time, replace our jobs. I had seen the big picture and could not wait to get started, and was ready to join when the guy phoned me back later that evening. This was September 2006, and we have not looked back since.
